Transformation Yoga Project (TYP) Supporting Higher Ground Recovery & Yoga to continue Yoga for Recovery programming
Dear Friends,
As we recently announced, Transformation Yoga Project is significantly shifting how it serves. We are transitioning from being a provider of trauma and recovery focused yoga to a to funder of programs that reflect our mission.
The announcement is posted on our website.
We’re proud of the relationships developed since we started our outreach in 2013 and the impact that our yoga for recovery programs have had on so many people. Although our focus is shifting, our commitment to the recovery community remains strong.
As part of this shift, we are excited to begin transitioning our recovery yoga programs to Higher Ground Recovery & Yoga.
I would like to introduce you to Cheryl Spera, M.S. Cheryl has been a part of the TYP team for five years and is currently our Manager of Operations. Her experience includes instructing recovery yoga classes in treatment facilities, sober living houses, schools, detention centers, and working as a substance abuse counselor.
Cheryl is also the Founder and Executive Director of Higher Ground Recovery & Yoga. We are working with our partners and Cheryl to insure a continuation of recovery yoga programming. We fully support and trust Higher Ground to bring the same level of commitment and professionalism that TYP is known for.
During this transition Cheryl will continue to split her time between TYP and Higher Ground solely focused on providing quality recovery yoga programs. This is especially important as more of our partners resume in-person programming.
I encourage you to reach out to Cheryl to discuss your recovery yoga programming options.
